First began in 2012, Seoul Fairytale Festival aimed to invigorate regional culture and tourism based on a unique brand of Gwangjin-gu through connecting regional infrastructures like Seoul Children’s Grand Park with ‘fairytales’. In every spring, Seoul Fairytale Festival hosts various events under the theme of a ‘fairytale’ for Koreans and foreigners of all ages to enjoy including exhibitions, performances, academics and experiential programs for adults to return to the innocence of childhood and for children to stimulate curiosity and imagination
